The change addresses a practical problem that emerged as Claude accumulated more specialized tools. Users previously had to determine whether a request belonged in Chat or should be delegated to Cowork. Documents and Presentations Move Center Stage
Anthropic is also introducing dedicated presentation and document capabilities. Users can instruct Claude to create, modify and present slide decks, with completed presentations exportable as PDF or PowerPoint files.
The Docs experience provides a collaborative workspace where users can develop sections, ask Claude questions and comment on completed material. Documents and presentations can be shared through links and edited from mobile devices, while work initiated on desktop can be monitored through the mobile app.
The new features are being introduced first for Claude Pro and Max subscribers across web, desktop and mobile, with Anthropic planning wider availability for free and team users later.
