  • In the midst of this evolution, this Thailand AI PR News report highlights how Oracle is positioning itself as a dominant player in the race for AI infrastructure supremacy.

Thailand AI PR News: Oracle and AMD Join Forces for AI’s Next Frontier

Oracle has announced a groundbreaking partnership expansion with AMD to create one of the most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructures ever built. The collaboration will see Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) become the first to deploy AI Superclusters powered by the newly unveiled AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs. The project, beginning in 2026, will initially feature 50,000 GPUs, with plans to scale beyond 2027, signaling a massive leap in AI computing capabilities.

These AI Superclusters will use AMD’s advanced “Helios” racks that combine the MI450 GPUs with the next-generation EPYC processors, codenamed “Venice,” and the high-performance Pensando networking technology, codenamed “Vulcano.” This setup is engineered for power efficiency and scalability, enabling companies to train and deploy the world’s largest AI models with reduced costs and environmental impact. In the midst of this evolution, this Thailand AI PR News report highlights how Oracle is positioning itself as a dominant player in the race for AI infrastructure supremacy.

Expanding the Boundaries of Cloud AI

In addition to the MI450-powered clusters, Oracle has officially launched OCI Compute services with AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, which will be integrated into its Zettascale Supercluster. This system can scale up to a staggering 131,072 GPUs, offering businesses cost-effective, cloud-native, and open-source-compatible AI solutions. Oracle has also introduced Acceleron, its enhanced cloud networking suite featuring AMD Pensando DPUs for ultra-fast, secure, and reliable performance across workloads of any size.

Shaping the Future of Open AI Compute

This strategic alliance between Oracle and AMD reflects a growing demand for open, flexible, and high-performance AI infrastructure. As industries accelerate toward AI-driven transformations, the new superclusters will enable faster model training, greater data throughput, and improved sustainability. Ultimately, this initiative could redefine how cloud platforms handle the immense computational requirements of next-generation artificial intelligence.
